OUR MISSION:
We believe that women, children and youth have a right to live in a violent free society, value their equality, respect their contributions and participate in all development activities.
OBJECTIVES
» To mitigate the long term effects of HIV/AIDS on widows,Orphans and other valnerable children in Bwaise.
» To network and support widows,Orphans and youths affected and infected with HIV/AIDS in giving them basic needs and material support.
» To increase awareness of sexual reproductive healthy rights among the youth in and out of school.
» To empower women living with HIV/AIDS in economic oriented skills and knowing thier rights.
» To promote the appropriate use of herbal medicine in the interventions of HIV/AIDS infections.
ACTIVITIES:
» Training widows and other vulnerable children in skills of tailoring ,tie and die, knitting and weaving.
» Making home gardens and energy saving stoves.
» Make communityoutreaches for youths in and out of school on Sexual Reproductive Healthy Rights(SRHR).
» Training people living with HIV in using herbal medicine to treat some of the minor and opportunistic infections that may occur.
» Providing care and support to widows and orphans with basic needs.
» Training communities in basic HIv/AIDS, counseling for the infected and affected families.
» Sensintising the community on HIV?AIDS arid domestic violence prevention through drama presentations.
